Account book, 1755-1758 and 1775-1803, kept by William Patterson, with later entries in various hands recording accounts and memoranda in English and Dutch. Sparse entries record small sales of drygoods, fabric, tea, dishes, etc. to residents of Princeton, Freehold, Little Egg Harbor, Albany, and other places in New York and New Jersey. Some of his customers were: Henry Burnett, of Princeton; William Olden, of Princeton; James Delaplane; Edward Dunphy; Samuel Throckmorton, of Freehole; Henry Beasley, of Albany; John Williams, of Freehold; and Peter Sunderland, of Hopewell.
